About me
Hi, I’m Kira Wygle , a graphic designer who loves creating work that feels intentional and expressive. I recently graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Marketing. Design has always been about connection for me by finding ways to communicate emotion and meaning through form, color, and type. I’m especially drawn to brand identity, typography, and publication design, and I enjoy turning abstract ideas into something tangible and memorable. My background in marketing helps me approach design strategically, while my passion for art direction and film-inspired storytelling keeps my work grounded in emotion and narrative.
My expertise
My work spans branding, typography, publication design, and illustration, with additional experience in environmental graphics and marketing-driven design. I’ve been fortunate to receive recognition for my work, including Best in Show, Best Typography, Best Publication, and Best Brand Identity at SHSU’s Graphic Design Senior Exhibition, as well as a Senior Portfolio Merit Award at the National Student Show & Conference (2025). Whether I’m building a brand or helping tell a story through a space, my goal is always the same–to create design that feels thoughtful, grounded, and made with care.
